\n\tJennifer Aniston<\/a> did not mince words as she criticized J.D. Vance<\/a>\u2018s resurfaced 2021 comment that politicians like Vice President Kamala Harris are \u201cchildless cat ladies<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn her Instagram Story Wednesday, the actress reposted a video clip of Vance\u2019s interview with then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson as he was running for Ohio senator in 2021. In her post, the actress pointed to Vance\u2019s track record of blocking access to fertility treatments.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI truly can\u2019t believe this is coming from a potential VP of The United States,\u201d Aniston wrote in reference to Donald Trump\u2019s 2024 running mate<\/a>. \u201cAll I can say is\u2026 Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI hope she will not need to turn to IVF<\/a> as a second option,\u201d she continued. \u201cBecause you are trying to take that away from her, too.\u201d (Vance voted against the Right to IVF Ac<\/a>t<\/a>, which looked to protect <\/a>accessibility and affordability of IVF.)<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the 2021 interview, Vance told Carlson that the country was being run \u201cby a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they\u2019ve made, and so they wanna make the rest of the country miserable, too.\u201d He further lamented, \u201cYou look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC, the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHarris is not, however, childless. She shares two stepchildren \u2014 son Cole and daughter Ella \u2014 with Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, while Secretary Buttigieg shares twins with his husband Chasten.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the past, Aniston has been vocal about her use of IVF, and the difficulty of handling pregnancy rumors in the public eye. \u201cAll the years and years and years of speculation \u2026 It was really hard,\u201d she told Allure<\/a><\/em> in 2022. \u201cI was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it. I would have given anything if someone had said to me, \u2018Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favor.\u2019 You just don\u2019t think it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have zero regrets,\u201d she continued. \u201cI actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, \u2018Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.\u2019 I don\u2019t have to think about that anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
