\n\tMarvel<\/a> fans will have to wait a few extra months to see the upcoming onscreen assembly of superheroes. Marvel Studios<\/a> and Disney have announced they are pushing back the release dates of Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> and Avengers: Secret Wars<\/em>. <\/p>\n \n\tAvengers: Doomsday<\/em> has been moved back from May 1, 2026, to Dec. 18, 2026, while its follow-up will now arrive in theaters on Dec. 17, 2027 instead of May 7, 2027. Doomsday<\/em> is currently in production in London and the delay will give directors Joe and Anthony Russo more time to complete the film. <\/p>\n \n\tMarvel Studios hasn\u2019t revealed much about the plot of\u00a0Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>, but they did unveil the cast list<\/a> during a five-hour livestream event in March.
